DIPAS as a nationwide example at the “Werkstatt der Mutigen”

DIPAS was invited to Berlin on 9 July 2025 as a showcase for municipal innovation at the 'Werkstatt der Mutigen' (‘Workshop of the Courageous’) – an event aimed at strengthening cooperation between local authorities and federal politics. The invitation was issued on the occasion of the DIPAS user community being awarded the ‘Bewährt vor Ort’ (‘Proven On-Site’) label.

With the motto ‘Regional solutions for nationwide change’, we exchanged ideas with numerous mayors, civil society initiatives and members of the Bundestag on how local approaches – such as DIPAS – can have a nationwide impact and how the entire federal government can build on what is already working in the cities of the DIPAS user community.

The Workshop of the Courageous was launched by the Alliance of Creators, a nationwide network supported by ProjectTogether and numerous partners such as the Network of Young Mayors. Together, they are shaping a respectful, solution-oriented cooperation between politics and civil society.
