The final report of DIPAS_analytics is now available!
How can the large amount of feedback from citizen participation be efficiently evaluated with DIPAS without losing track of the big picture? This is precisely the question that the ‘DIPAS_analytics’ project has been investigating. From January 2023 to September 2025, an AI-supported evaluation tool was developed in Hamburg, which will be tested in real DIPAS procedures in Hamburg over the next few months and then introduced into standard operation. In the course of 2026, this module of the DIPAS software will also be made available open source.
The final report is now available. It documents the research and development work of the last three years and provides an insight into the project idea, the objectives, the multi-stage development process, the approach, the technological decisions and the key results. The report illustrates the added value that artificial intelligence can offer in participation procedures with DIPAS and what is important for its responsible use.
